Montenegro U16 coach Djordjije Pavicevic has declared himself delighted with the team's preparations for the U16 European Championship.

Pavicevic's squad are in Slovenia for a training camp in Postojbina this week and things appear to be progressing nicely.

"The weather is finally as we like it," Pavicevic said. "It is a little colder and now we are able to train twice a day with no problems. We also had a morning off, and we visited the Postojinska pit (a famous cave) and we enjoyed some of the Slovenian sights.

"We have a game against the seniors from Postojbina on Saturday and then from July 27th we will be playing in a tournament in Zalecu."

Before heading to Slovenia, the Montenegro squad had been in Hrvatska, where they took second place in a warm-up tournament which was won by France, with Russia and Croatia also involved.

When the tournament gets under way in Bar on August 5, Montenegro will compete in Group D and take on Russia, Turkey and Israel.
